NAMFT is proud to announce that as of May 1st, 2018 we have become a fully independent organization.  Historically, NAMFT was a state division of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT), originally formed to lead the push for licensing MFTs in Nebraska.  A recent restructure of the national organization has led to the dissolution of all state divisions, some of which, including Nebraska, have chosen to become independent organizations in their own right.

NAMFT is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and we are excited to embark on the next chapter of representing the professional interests of Marriage & Family Therapists and all mental health providers in Nebraska who have an interest and desire to work systemically.  We look forward to welcoming new members of all mental health disciplines that wish to learn, collaborate, promote, and support systemically based mental health treatment.  If you are interested in joining, please visit our "become a member" page.
