We are pleased to announce that we have redesigned our website to benefit NAMFT Members, clinicians, students and individuals seeking therapist who are systemically trained!
Here are the features and updates that we’ve added:
Find A Clinician
We are so excited to share our newest feature: Find A Clinician! This feature allows individuals interested in seeking therapy to find clinicians located in their area. Students seeking a supervisor may also use this feature to look for Approved Supervisors. For more information on this feature, please refer to this article.
Membership Benefit
This is an exciting time to be a NAMFT member! ALL NAMFT Members will now have the option of being listed as a clinician in our ‘Find A Clinician’ directory. This means that if you choose to be listed, your information will be displayed on our website for others to look up. For more information on the benefits of being a NAMFT member, please refer to Membership Benefits. To become a NAMFT member, please refer to Become A Member.
Get Help
This section will include information on community resources such as shelters, food banks, etc. This section is a work in progress and we will continue to update information as we get them. If you know of an organization or resource that may be beneficial to others and would like it listed on our website, please contact us at contact@nebraskamft.org or complete the contact form here.
For clinicians, we’ve created a section for Events and Trainings and resources for Clinicians and Supervisors:
- Events and Trainings – we will include information about our bi-annual conferences as well as any upcoming trainings or events that clinicians may be interested in participating.
- Clinicians and Supervisors – we will continue to add resources to benefit supervisors as clinicians, such as information on becoming a supervisor, materials to help with supervision and tracking hours, and any other resources that would benefit clinicians in their work.
For students, we’ve included information for prospective students interested in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as current MFT students:
- Licensure Information – Information on licensure and links to obtain more information on licensure for current and prospective MFT students.
- MFT Program – Information about the COAMFTE-accredited Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy program in Nebraska.
Guidelines and more information on these features will be posted on the website. If you have questions or encounter any issues with your account or features on the website, please contact us at contact@nebraskamft.org.
